Lumbe Pools isn’t just another fishing camp on the Zambezi – there is something for everyone here!
We built Lumbe Pools with families, friends and non-hardcore anglers in mind so for those looking for more than just fishing, there is plenty to do!
Although our tiger fishing is in high demand, our location near the Sioma Falls and on the banks of the Lumbe means there are a number of different activities to enjoy.

LUMBe activities
Snorkeling
Strictly in the Lumbe, snorkel in the crystal clear pools to see our labeos, barbs, minnows and small bream that live in amongst the rocks.
LUMBE ACTIVITIES
“Beach” Games
We have access to a lot of squeaky white beaches for tanning, beach boules, beach golf and frizbee.
LUMBE ACTIVITIES
Fishing
In addition to tiger fishing, we offer ‘doba doba’ angling for youngsters and the chance to nymph the rapids of the Lumbe and Zambezi for yellowfish and labeo.
LUMBE ACTIVITIES
Sioma Falls
No visit to Lumbe Pools would be complete without a trip to the Sioma Falls – the second largest waterfall on the Zambezi – to swim in the natural jacuzzis and have G & T’s on the rocks next to the Falls.
LUMBE ACTIVITIES
Walking, Running or Birding
Enjoy the various trails around Lumbe for running or walking (note sand is soft) or birding for riverine and miombo species.
