A Typical Family Day at Lumbe Pools
Early morning
Coffee around the fire as the Zambezi mist lifts. Early risers can head out for a few hours of fishing while others sleep in.
Mid-morning
Return to camp for a leisurely brunch overlooking the river.
Midday
Family time: snorkel in the Lumbe’s clear pools, try your hand at beach boule or beach golf on our private sand beaches, or simply relax at the Rosewood Lookout with a book.
Afternoon
High tea, then choose your own adventure — an easy fishing session for the keen anglers, a walk along the river trails, or more time at the “beach.”
Sunset
Everyone reunites around the fire pit in the main area for drinks, stories from the day, and a proper family dinner under the stars.

Easy reach from Livingstone or Vic Falls
No long-haul flights, no complicated logistics. Fly commercially from Johannesburg to Livingstone or Kasane (FlySafair offers some of the most affordable routes), and we’ll arrange your road transfer straight to camp.
